What an amazing trip, this hunt ranks at the top of some of my most memorable hunting trips around the globe! As an American, Royal Karoo is the perfect blend of the lower Rocky Mountains meet African Safari. The mountainous Eastern Karoo and Valley Bushveld offer a unique African hunt that can be as challenging as you want it to be but so rewarding at the same time. Every detail of the hunt was perfectly curated by John and Nikita. Details matter and they delivered at every turn.

The lodge and accommodations are beautiful, relaxing, and comfortable. The entire staff, including the owners, were there at every turn to make sure our stay and hunt was successful and meaningful. I will say that the food was hands down some of the best venison cuisine I have ever eaten. The traditional style African meal and braai (BBQ) in the bush were a special treat and a true highlight honoring African culture. The days of hunting lead by quality and knowledgeable PH’s will remain as some of my best stalks and successful animal harvests to date. Royal Karoo Safaris, I can't thank you enough for the time spent hunting the Eastern Cape and a friendship that will last a lifetime!
